We are dedicated hobby breeders of

the gorgeous BRITISH SHORTHAIR cats.​

I am registered with COAWA and based down south of Western Australia in the small city of Albany.

​

After owning several British for many years, I decided to embark on my own breeding program. With a strong love for the breed and a knowledge of the standard, I took the next step of acquiring my first Stud and Queen.

Right from the start I had decided I wanted to breed the rare and scrumptious chocolates and lilacs in solid and bi-colour patterns. I realised I would have to learn some basic feline genetics to achieve my goal. In breeeding these colours comes a great deal of hard work and determination as they are still in the early stages and have been recognised as a British colour for only a short period of time. I enjoy the challenge and adore the soft lilacs and delicious chocolates!

​I have a strong focus on producing healthy happy kittens with excellent temperaments, as I believe this is vital to producing kittens who will be in loving indoor homes. I strive for type and I am currently focusing on boning, big muzzley smiles, round eyes and small ears with lovely thick cracking coats.

​

My husband and I set about building cat runs for the boys, they have ample shelving for exercise, cat poles of different shapes and sizes and enclosed beds with plush blankets. Fortunately none of our boys spray on their belongings!! We also have small gardens with cat grass and cat mint growing for them.

​

We constructed indoor nurseries for our Mum's and babies to have a safe, clean and even temperatured environment whilst remaining in our family home. Our nurseries are specially designed to keep our young kittens safe from "home perils" much like you would with a newly crawling baby. Once they reach 3 weeks of age they are then integrated into the family room where they get into plenty of mischief...climbing the curtains and chewing on everything!! They even like to send emails on my behalf!!
